It is one of the most fun, vibrant and dynamic areas of Lima: Miraflores has architecture, art, design, gastronomy, and a dynamism that spreads to the rest of the city. Stay in the beating heart of this neighborhood at the Aloft Lima Miraflores.
Every adventure has a beginning. Miraflores is a great starting point to experience Lima due to its strategic location in the city: near the sea, surrounded by public spaces, within walking distance of all kinds of shops and the best restaurants and bars in Lima, and very well connected with other districts of interest, such as Barranco and its historical heritage, and San Isidro, with its commercial and business life.
And not only that, since Miraflores has its own personality. In fact, it is one of the neighborhoods with the greatest character in Lima. Republican venues, neocolonial houses, and some of the best exhibitions of contemporary architecture meeting with parks and public spaces that bring together a local, familiar, amusing and in search of stimuli community.
In response to that very particular spirit, the Aloft Lima Miraflores has differentand stimulating environments, designed for expressive world travelers with an open mind.Filled with style and connectivity, you’ll find a variety of experiences inside and outside the hotel to help you live a vibrant and unique city of Lima.
Culture and Amusement
There is nothing more rewarding than going all over the Malecón de la Reserva(Reserve Boardwalk) in Miraflores and enjoying the so-called Costa Verde(Green Coast) of Lima. From the hotel, you can take a pedestrian route that takes you through milestones of public art, such as “El beso”(The Kiss) by Víctor Delfín, “Intihuatana” by Fernando de Szyszlo, “Cupido” (Cupid) by Marcelo Wong and “Entre el tiempo” (Between the time) by José Tola, among other works by Peruvian authors.
You can also explore the area by bicycle, on a tour organized by the Aloft Lima Miraflores, which includes precise stops in the most charming and photogenic places in the district. Get to know the Parque Kennedy (Kennedy Park), surrounded by small cafes and shops; the large Inca Markets of Petit Thouars avenue; or the pre-Hispanic presence of the HuacaPucllana.
If you want to know more about cultural life, you can choose between the Centro Cultural Ricardo Palma(Ricardo Palma Cultural Center), the Sala Luis Miró Quesada Garland (Luis Miró Quesada Garland Hall), the Lugar de la Memoria, la Tolerancia y la Inclusión Social (Place of Memory, Tolerance and Social Inclusion), and contemporary art galleries such as Impakto, Ginsberg and Del Paseo.
Since this is a creative neighborhood, the Aloft Lima Miraflores called on the urban artists Conrad and Pésimo to make a mural almost 30 meters high, which has become part of the landscape. In the interior rooms of the hotel, the artistic vibe continues with an intervention made by the renowned photographer Billy Hare and works by plastic artist Michelle Prazak.
The Aloft Lima Miraflores also organizes movie afternoons inside the hotel, with a varied list of movies and even popcorn, as a courtesy of the house.
